Well, I’m home after our visit to Alice-who-isn’t-a-cat, but note to self…next time I do a long journey with the kids…put one in the front and one in the back. Divide and conquer. I’m far too traumatised to tell you all the details, but flying shoes were endured at one time, and I’m hoarse from bellowing at them to behave! 😉
It was worth it, though!
We had a lovely break.
The weather was cold but dry and perfect for a walk on the beach.
Extreme Toddler Sports were resurrected.
Huge hints about an addition to the family were dropped. Button would love a baby brother or sister…
The Boy…not so much!)
I suspect The Boy will win that particular vote!
We are having a quiet day at home today. And missing Alice and Huggy immensely.
However, tomorrow is the Cake and Bake show. I’m beyond excited!
Looks like you had a lovely time, blows the cobwebs away, lol. Enjoy your quiet day today
Little peeps are having a rare nap. I’ve got tea and my laptop. Bliss!
How wonderful and what fantastic photos. You do know if you get one dog, you may as well get two…much easier (I speak from experience)!
I swear if our house wasn’t so tiny I would…
What awesome pics. Your children sure are active! 🙂 I love seeing them play in the sand and by the water. That’s so adorable. And the new baby is so snuggly sweet.
‘Active’ is surely one word for it….;-)
We had a major sulk from Miss Button because she couldn’t wear her swimsuit and play in the sea!
Huggy baby is wonderful. I did try to smuggle him out…
Oh I love Toddler Extreme Sports! It’s so much fun watching them loving life. It sou ds like a lovely break away.
I have my heart in my mouth half the time, but you’ve got to let them push the boundaries! We were very sad to come home…but the summer holidays aren’t too far away…
Great pics! Sounds like a blast — glad you made through the driving bits okay!
Driving in the UK is an extreme sport in itself…even more so with bored small peeps! We did have fun though.
Your kids are so cute!
I know! I’m so lucky!
There really is something amazing about “Getting There” don’t you think. And ears on small fry are for decoration I think. Not sure but I think that”s right lolol. Sorry you had a horrendous trip to/from Alice but thank goodness for beaches. And gumboots. And wonderful times.
Welcome home.
Ears on small fry are definitely not used for listening 😉
The good thing about horrendous journeys is that in the long run all that you remember is playing on the beach and launching yourself down the sand dunes. Precious memories indeed!
