Ma has been busy with the needles again.
This photo makes me smile because yesterday they were beating holes out of each other and screaming like banshees!
Both these knits are made in Patons Sorbet chunky in colourway Vanilla.
Button’s cardigan is Little Montoya from Kate Jackson Knits and you can buy it from Ravelry. It has the most beautiful panel on the back which echos the edge of the sleeves and hems.
The Boy’s sweater is from the Snuggly Vintage book and is design H. The original pattern is for DK but Ma adjusted it for chunky yarn.
Perfect sweaters for cooler summer days…thanks Ma!

So clever your ma!!! Everytime you post a picture of your “cuties” I think how amazingly lovely they are, and how lucky they were to find your family!! (and you to find them, I guess!!)
We were definitely lucky to find them! Although yesterday I was looking for the receipt…
Ma is so talented. All we have to do now is convince her of it.

Beautiful – both the garments and the children…even if they might drive you a little crazy at times! And my, how they are growing 🙂
They are in the middle of a growth spurt…they are like weeds! I wouldn’t swap them for the world.
They are far too adorable, both knitting & littlies!
They are little monsters but we love them!
What a gorgeous cardigan, love that pattern on the back. The children and the knits, make a delightful pair
I love this pattern too. I can see this becoming a favorite.

They are so cute and the sweaters are lovely
Thank you. On both counts.
I love both cardigan and sweater, and they suit the children’s colouring so well. The cardigan pattern is lovely, does it come in adult sizes?
It is a great colour on them, I agree. And yes…there is an adult version. It too is knit in chunky so will grow really quickly. I think the shaping compensates for the thicker yarn making it more flattering.

Oh they are gorgeous and the knits too of course. My two are growing like weeds as well so I know what that’s like. I especially like the cardi too, as do my girls. “Mum can I have one of those please?” was the question – isn’t it nice to hear please?!
Beautiful manners and an appreciation of handknits…I think your girls are amazing!
